9th Annual National Juried Show “It’s Pastel!”

The Pastel Society of New Hampshire’s 9th Annual National Juried Show “It’s Pastel!” runs Oct. 21 – Nov. 25 at  Discover Portsmouth Center, Portsmouth, NH.

This new addition to my “Looking Down” series, which was juried into the show, is based on a view down the rocky shore from Ocean Boulevard in Rye, NH.

PPOM 17th International Juried Exhibition

“Looking Down 19” and “October Colors 4” at the Pastel Painters of Maine’s 17th International Juried Exhibition for “Pastels Only,” University of New England Art Gallery, Portland, ME, Oct. 15, 2016 – January 7, 2017. Pleased to report that “Looking Down 19” received a Merit Award (sponsored by Pastel Society of New Hampshire, Pan Pastel, and American Frame) and sold at the opening reception. Art Guild of the Kennebunks, August Show

Prescott Park Arts Festival Open Juried Exhibition

Happy to report that my pastel “Winter Green 3” received an honorable award at this year’s show at Prescott Park in Portsmouth, NH (Sheafe Warehouse). The show runs July 1 – Sept. 6. Also for sale: several unframed matted original pastels and landscapes in acrylic, as well as note cards with reproductions of my works.

“This Is What Artists Look Like” – Jay Goldsmith

“This Is What Artists Look Like” – Portraits of 30+ local artists by Jay Goldsmith at Discover Portsmouth Center Gallery, Portsmouth, NH, Oct. 23 – Dec. 24, 2015. Opening Reception: Friday, Nov. 6, 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Photographer Jay Goldsmith has photographed local artists and printed their portraits via the historic 19th century platinum / palladium method. The photographs are paired with examples of the artists’ work. I’m honored to be included in the exhibition.
